"I walk on the wild side!"

More often then not someone in this family is quoting a Disney movie.  Nemo is probably the most used, but when creating a post about Cooper... Lion King quickly comes to mind.   Coop clearly "walks on the wild side and laughs in the face of danger!"  Oh yes, and he often "deliberately disobeys" us . . . however, we are learning that this amazing, passionate and sometimes exhausting child may quite possibly end up teaching us a lot more about love and life then we could ever teach him!
Luckily he has an unexplained love of his brother's batting helmet and wears it almost every day which in turn helps protect his head while he scales tall buildings and attempts to fly.  And yes, he wears it even when we leave the house to run errands or go somewhere.  This mama has finally learned the valuable parenting lesson that every battle is NOT worth fighting.  Helps me save up energy for the ones that are!
Riding big boy rides . . . Loves the thrill!
He also had tubes put in his ears this summer.  The repeated ear infections were more painful then getting tubes and he was ready to go after a quick nap. He even made an appearance that night at 2 baseball games.
The room at Children's hospital probably went through more than Cooper did on the day of surgery.  He kept  occupied with the Matchbox cars that Grandma and Grandpa Best bought him using the bed, stool and anything else he could find to launch them through the air.  A few wound up behind the bed . . . he did not hesitate to move it and find them!
And finally . . . my daily prayer for all my boys!  Cooper seems to have a mind prepared for action and we will continue to pray for self-control.
