Christmas memories

It was a pretty amazing celebration this year. Lots of food, family, fun, and moments of faith in its purest form. Christmas started on Christmas Eve with the grandparents. Family filled the home of Grandma and Grandpa True as we laughed and shared our love. Then we made it to Grandma and Grandpa Best's house where we saw what true gratitude looks like. Check out the tackles and tears below, a reflection of grateful hearts for the new Ipod touches that Connor and Megan got from their grandparents. Cowboy hats and new cowboy boots were a hot gift also. Although, I think we might have trouble with our "rootin, tootin, Cowboy Coop" since he saddled over to the grown up gifts and pulled out the Morgans that Daddy got from Grandpa! We better keep a close eye on this cowboy!
Then Christmas Eve night we headed home, anxious for the joy of Christmas morning!

We'll start with the Christmas finale . . . A surprise trip to Disney! Hugs, tears, disbelief, then dancing and pure excitement filled the air. We saved the big gift for last, but before the Disney reveal we enjoyed an awesome Christmas morning. Here are a few highlights: Cooper standing on top of every present. This year Connor and Megan earn play money at school when they do their homework, help clean up and treat others kindly. They love this incentive and decided before Thanksgiving to start saving up to buy Christmas gifts with their own money. This might be one of my favorite Christmas pics. Do you see Connor's face? That is the joy of giving. He followed Meg around as she bought gifts for the rest of our family. While browsing, she picked up this little purple bracelet but put it back since she didn't have enough to buy for everyone else and get the bracelet for herself. He bought it up and came home beaming. He wrapped it that very day and couldn't wait to give it to her.

A favorite package!
Their battles will be legendary!
