The magic begins for us on Christmas Eve. Daddy had to work in the morning, but the afternoon and evening were just for us!! This year we ventured down to Fountain Square to watch the ice skaters, drink hot chocolate and check out the Duke Energy train display. We finished up just in time for Christmas Eve services at church.

After church we came home for dinner and new Christmas pajamas! We made cookies and prepared for Santa!
Attempting a picture by the Christmas tree! It's not perfect, but it is my favorite!

Christmas Day!

After opening presents they found an envelope with each of the big kid's name on it. Inside the envelope was a little poem that I wrote for them leading to a place in the house with their special last present. (A similar tradition that my dad, the master "Clue meister" himself, started years ago). The look on each little face was priceless and the overwhelming gratitude and humility they continually show all year round is proof that their extra spoiling this year is well-deserved! We are so very proud of the little people they are becoming! What better time of the year than Christmas to show it?

Megan found her big gift in the laundry room - a Girls Night with Mommy watching her favorite singer . . . Taylor Swift! I am certain it will be a night to remember!!
