Sitting up

With Connor and Megan all of the little firsts were such a concentrated effort. We would wait and watch and wait and wonder when they would roll over, sit up, crawl, etc. With little Coop there isn't much time for watching and waiting! Amazingly he doesn't seem to mind. He just relishes the time and attention that he gets. His latest first? Sitting up . . . I usually sit him in front of me and hold him up while I'm reading or playing with all of the kids. One day he needed me for support and then the next day he just used his little stomach muscles to stabilize himself and there he sat. I waited for him to topple forward or backward or put his hands down for support. No need, because he just sat and sat and sat! I am cherishing these firsts and oh so aware of how quickly they come and go!!
