Kindergarten spring concert

Connor and Megan had their spring concert this week. It was an odd feeling walking into a school auditorium with other parents. I'm so used to being on the other side of the educational journey. I'm the teacher ushering the students into the auditorium watching my students perform and show off their talents. Tonight though, it was my turn to sit quietly in the uncomfortable auditorium chairs and beam with pride. Their kindergarten class wrote and recorded a song with the famous children's musician Rick Charette. "Sharky the shark", a Miss Morgan pm kindergarten class original, was the hit of the night! They also belted out "Just my Size" which is a Shawnee School classic . . . "Not too low, not too high, Shawnee School is just my size!"
