Oh boy . . . I'm way behind. The task of loading all the Christmas pics seemed so daunting and I put it off just long enough to LOSE my camera cord! Sorry, I'll update the pics as soon as I find it! There are however, some pics that I didn't take and those are the ones that actually tell the most memorable stories of our Christmas this year.
For example,
There is no picture of Megan and Connor lighting the candles at Christmas Eve service and understanding the true meaning of bringing light to the world.
There is no picture of Connor or Megan or Cole or Mommy puking during "Puke fest 08" which began around 10 pm on Christmas Eve night after cookies at church, a huge meal made by Mommy (her first turkey ever!), more cookies for Santa (we had to make sure they were okay!) and hot chocolate made in our CoCoMotion (such a fun gift, thanks Grandma and Grandpa True). Our "puke fest" lasted until Friday, but we had moments of calm during the storm and during those lulls there were wonderful memories of opening and playing with our new gifts including a Hannah Montana stage and a "loop de loop" airplane from Santa and a new basketball hoop for Cole. Books about animals and puzzles about trains were exchanged. Mommy and Daddy received Merry Christmas plates painted by Megan and Connor. Daddy got a video golf lesson at this cool place in Blue Ash, The Alternate Golf Shot and a new remote (every Daddy's dream gift, right?) and Mommy got new gloves and a hat, cute pajamas and the best gift she's ever gotten . . . tickets to a conference! (confused? keep reading . . . )
There are no pictures of Matt and I getting up early last Saturday morning and having a cup of coffee together, then enjoying an ENTIRE day to ourselves at the Growing Marriage Conference hosted by Dr. Gary Chapman, author of The Five Love Languages. Thank you Matt for listening when I mentioned, "wouldn't that be fun??" I learned so much and I promise to put this Christmas present to good use during the entire year!

We had puke fest about a week before Christmas, but the side effects were still lingering over the holidays. No fun!!
